By booking a service, using our website, or engaging with Nick's Noteworthy Detailing ("NND," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("Customer," "you") agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Services
Nick's Noteworthy Detailing provides mobile vehicle detailing services in the Des Moines, Iowa metropolitan area. All services are performed at or near your specified location. Service availability is subject to scheduling, weather conditions, and geographic coverage.
2. Booking & Appointments
- Appointments are not confirmed until you receive a written confirmation from NND.
- We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather, equipment issues, or unforeseen circumstances. You will be notified promptly.
- Please ensure your vehicle is accessible at the agreed time and location. Failure to provide access may result in a cancellation fee.
- Quotes provided online or via message are estimates. Final pricing may vary based on vehicle condition upon inspection.
3. Deposits & Payment
- A non-refundable deposit (typically 10% of the quoted price) may be required to confirm your booking.
- Full payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made in writing.
- We accept cash, card, check, and ACH. Stripe is used for all card and online transactions.
- Returned checks are subject to a $35 returned check fee.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled appointment may forfeit any deposit paid.
- Same-day cancellations without prior notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to $50.
- We understand emergencies happen — please contact us as early as possible if you need to reschedule.
5. Vehicle Condition & Liability
- NND takes great care in handling your vehicle. However, we are not responsible for pre-existing damage, paint defects, loose trim, or other conditions that existed prior to service.
- Any known pre-existing damage should be disclosed before service begins. We may document vehicle condition with photos before starting work.
- In the unlikely event of damage caused by our team, please notify us within 48 hours of service completion so we can address the issue promptly.
- Our maximum liability is limited to the cost of the service performed. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
6. Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with the results, please contact us within 24 hours of service completion and we will make it right at no additional charge, subject to reasonable limitations. Complaints raised after 48 hours or after the vehicle has been used may not qualify for a redo.
7. Photography & Marketing
We may photograph your vehicle before, during, and after service for quality assurance and marketing purposes (e.g., social media, website). Your vehicle's identifying information (license plate, VIN) will not be displayed publicly. If you prefer that photos of your vehicle not be used in marketing, please notify us before service begins.
8. Gift Cards
- Gift cards are non-refundable and have no cash value.
- Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced.
- Gift cards may have an expiration date as noted at time of purchase.
- Gift cards cannot be combined with other promotional discounts unless otherwise stated.
9. NND Club Membership
The NND Club is a free loyalty program. Membership benefits, reward thresholds, and terms may change at any time at our discretion. We will make reasonable efforts to notify members of significant changes. Rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
10. Communications
By providing your contact information, you consent to receive service-related communications via email and SMS including appointment confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time. Standard carrier rates may apply for SMS.
11. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Iowa. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Polk County, Iowa.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
